Finding the Pools
The hot water emerges near the river below the campground. Visitors follow an established path from the campground area and descend toward rock-lined pools at the water's edge. The route is short, but loose soil, wet rocks, and the steep grade can make it unsuitable for people expecting paved access.
High water can cover or cool some pools, while lower water may expose additional soaking spots. Never assume that a pool shown in an older photograph will have the same shape or temperature on the day of a visit.
Campground Access Is Seasonal
